Research work connected to the project "ORIGIN", approved by European Union, started in 2000. It was aimed at the study of the most important origins of some significant historical, physical and natural realities.

The project is developed by a pool of international schools. At the moment, the partners are: Liceo "G.B.Benedetti" , Technical Institute "C. Zuccante" of Venice (Italy), Primary and Secondary School "Otto Hahn Scule" of Frankfurt (Germany), Gymnasium "Thomas Mann Schule" of Lubeck (Germany), Gymnasium "53 Keskool" of Tallinn (Estonia) and "Zespol Szkol Ogolnoksztalcacych" of Krakow (Poland).

The hypertext is divided into an introduction describing the goals, the table of contents and the authors, and a specific section containing the materials developed by each school. The first one is written by the project coordinator, Mr. Giuseppe Pareschi of Liceo "G. B. Benedetti".
Each school has written its materials at least in two languages: its own and English, to be used as standard language. So, the whole hypertext is readeable only in English.
